Never get complacent with your digital marketing strategy

Just because something works now or for one client, doesn't mean it will work in the future or across all verticals online.

Digital marketers tend to use and abuse strategies that are effective until they are no longer effective (directory submissions, guest posts, infographics, etc...).

Take the time to study what competitors are doing effectively and be mindful that those same competitors are likely analyzing your digital marketing strategies as well. If you are doing something really good, chances are others will notice and try to replicate. By never getting complacent and by staying innovating with your digital marketing strategies you can stay a leg ahead of your competition.

The importance of content marketing

I wish I knew not to slack when it comes to content because that is essential what drives traffic to your site. I started off thinking content marketing is simply publishing blogs but came to learn its so much more like videos, podcasts, site content, and copy. Content marketing promotes brand awareness and if I knew this beforehand I feel as if I would've gone about it differently. For example I would've considered to put more thought into pitching reporters and inputting relevant keywords.

Create content to respond to your users' inquiries

Your users' inquiries are always answered in the finest and most interesting material. If a user does not receive satisfactory answers to their inquiries, they will quit. This material should either educate or bring value to the consumers' experience, eventually assisting them in solving their problems.

Make content that users are searching for and that will benefit them. SEO tools and Analytics information will reveal what keywords and subjects your industry's customers are looking for. Create articles and services using this information.

The objective is to provide high-quality, useful information.

Alternatively, you may utilise these subjects to enhance and repurpose the content on your most popular blogs.

Focus on quality not quantity!

As with most Digital Marketers, when we started out we assumed the more we did for ourselves or our clients, the better their results. This simply isn't true. Today we take a much more measured approach to our SEO, PPC & Social Media focusing most of our time and energy on research and planning rather than churning out content.*

All experts in digital marketing should follow this advice. Good research will help you analyze your performance and take steps to improve the result.

And if you do not plan, it will be difficult to achieve your goal without significant expenditure of time and effort. Having a clear plan of action in front of you will make it much easier to achieve your goal.

The importance of building brand awareness

As a young digital marketer, I always underestimated how critical it is.

Building brand awareness is so much more than simply creating an attractive logo with eye-catching colors. You have to create a unique proposition that differentiates you from your competitors. You must do something differently..

For instance, if you create an accessible website, it’s a great start to build your brand, but you can’t stop there. If you add a convenient chat tool, it might help draw in more visitors, thus giving your brand more exposure.

If I had known how vital brand awareness is right from the start, it would have helped me grow my company at a much faster pace. I would not have spent month after month perfecting my company’s logo and then wondered why it’s not yielding the desired results.

Invest in influencer marketing

I noticed how Important personalities have a reach that you can’t just get with good content or SEO. So, in recent years, this strategy has proved to be the most effective one for my business.

It showed how my target audience may follow a celebrity or influencer over some spokesperson. So, if you want to connect better with the market, switch your marketing techniques. The reason is that followers might believe anything an influential personality says.

Therefore, the first step is to identify the type of influencer you want to collaborate with. There are micro and macro bloggers that are famous in their respective niches. Therefore, you may have to narrow down on the following basis:

  • Number of followers
  • Engagement rate
  • Traffic rate

Once you have shortlisted the influencers that best suit your needs. It can simply improve your brand visibility and rate of organic followers with engaging content, such as product reviews. Check your traffic and engagement rate after employing your influencer collaboration to view results.

There is always something new to learn and fresh content to get your hands on!

Since starting my role as a Digital Marketing Executive, I think it's important for people to realise the numerical and more scientific side of the role. I think a lot of people, when thinking of marketing, envision a full time creative role. Although it is and there's never a dull moment, getting yourself aware of data and analysis would be really beneficial.

This saves you from perhaps being overwhelmed by all the numbers and graphs as you've seen it all before. Saying this, Google offers a number of courses and training which can be great for people wanting to get into the marketing field. These courses can really help with growth and progressions as firstly, it's one less thing to learn on the job but also it's a skill set that a lot of employers look for.

Build your network and never stop

Connect with local, regional and national subject matter experts, influencers, agency owners/executives and nurture those relationships. Networking is like gardening, so those relationships should be curated over time.

Focus more on answering questions that help clients and prospects

We all know that people are not looking to be sold to. They are looking for help, education, and information to be more successful. When we started to focus more on how we can help people instead of ‘looking for business’ things really changed for us. Whether it’s copy on a website, blog articles, or social media posts, the focus is on providing information that can help the visitor/reader versus just sharing information about us.

Digital marketing on the surface seems like a simple concept

You create content that is targeted and shared to a large audience. However, like most digital concepts, there are many factors that affect what at first glance appears easy. Starting out, our agency Apex Creative Media was created with a very simple grasp of just how important smaller, less extravagant tactics truly are in a marketing strategy. Being a website designer myself, if I could provide one tip to anyone looking to introduce a successful marketing strategy to either their own firm or a client it would be to focus on the smaller tactics, primarily when it comes to Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

SEO is how well a website or URL can be found on search engines like Google with keywords. When I began website design several years ago, I was completely self-taught and my primary focus was to make something beautiful and functional. I had never considered SEO in the beginning and just how important it can be, but now I accredit it to being a major catalyst in our firm's growth and success. Tactics such as link-building and guest blogging have become integral in my position and always lead to success for any strategy they're applied to.

Optimize your website for mobile devices

This is critical if you want to grow your business. Every year more people are using their phones or tablets to read articles, research trends, and make purchases. It’s imperative that your website is optimized for different screen sizes and load times. This will enhance your user experience, increasing your overall conversion rate.

Focus on a responsive web design, an easy-to-navigate structure, and page speed. This will ensure you’re not losing any customers due to something that can be easily fixed. I wish I had taken that into account when our business first started out. We would have grown faster if our website was optimized for different devices.

Digital Marketing really = SEO.

This is factual, probably the best SaaS, Digital Marketing tip ever.

Invested in a top level keyword based domain with either seo, digital, marketing, saas or whatever other keyword, make less than 10 changes to the page and the keyword[s] within will score 100/100.

I think this is a SEO shortcut that does not exist so we are told.

Accessible Information

Digital marketing nowadays isn’t just a way of showing off to competitors nor it is a way of telling everyone that the company you’re working for is ahead of the others in terms of technology. Digital marketing is now becoming a staple. It’s one of the basics of marketing gimmicks. Without it, you are more likely to fall behind. However, when utilizing digital marketing as a tool, you need to make sure that you create a content that answers frequently asked questions of potential customers who are interested to know the products and services of the company. Make the information as accessible as possible so that you can easily capture the attention of online audience. People who are browsing your page or website are likely to be lazy. So, make sure that the content as displayed on your digital platforms will not make them frustrated and lose their curiosity and interest. Make it more engaging and informative to retain their focus.

Narrow your focus

Stop trying to be everywhere online because it just doesn't work that way!

Narrowing down what you do best in the digital marketing world (just like any other industry) will help save time and reach success much quicker.

Spend more time on the message

Spend more time on the message you want to share rather than talking about everything else.

You know the saying “if we build it, they will come”? Well, I believe that “if the message is right, they will come.”

Focus on the right message and work at making sure it’s perfect. The other things will come into play as you progress through your strategy. But the message should lead everything and not the other way around.

A lot written, a lot to read

I wish I knew that there was going to be a lot written, a lot to read and it was going to be easy to be paralized at times reading about others work. Instead of spending so much time planning, I wish I'd have started doing immediately. I wish I'd have stopped reading case studies that others had done and instead, tested things myself. I wish I'd have built sites that I didn't really care about, just to see what worked and what didn't.

The latest hot tip on social media is not a marketing strategy

Many people jump from one tip to another, collecting tidbits and forming them into a marketing plan, of sorts. Before you head down the marketing road, you need to know why you exist, who your customers are, how you position against competition, etc.

Don't spend money and time without a plan that answers why we exist. Create a marketing strategy that answers all those questions first, then move into advertising, SEO, Social strategy and more. And if you don't know how to create one, there are plenty of marketers who could help and plenty of online courses to teach you the basics. If you don't, you can easily spend yourself into oblivion, never making any ground. Social is flashy, ads are fun, influencers repping you sound awesome. But without a why, it's much less likely to work.

Know more about narrative or storytelling marketing

Digital marketing is a deluge of banner ads and promotions, often causing a business’s message to get lost, which is why in the beginning, I wish I knew more about narrative or storytelling marketing. The average attention span given to short form promotions is less than five seconds, yet, narrative digital marketing has engagement rates that can be up to ten times higher.

By concentrating on the stories of customers, employees, and owners, or simply focusing on human interests pieces, I would have seen early engagement rates as well as growth accelerating at much more desirable levels. As I have advanced well past those early days in my career, I have learned that focusing on human connection rather than products and services, is the most effective form of digital marketing.

Consistency is essential for every successful business

Anyone can intend to be consistent, but only a few can do it. Being consistent will assist you in engaging with your target audience. I wish I knew it before, and I would personally advise everyone.

To build and extend one's business, one must proclaim their company's presence among the public. Consistency will give your consumers consistent service, attracting new clients to work with you. The target audience is the number one priority in every business, and one must constantly be ready to keep long-term delighted clients.

Only focus on your strengths and outsource the rest

When you're just starting out, it's tempting to try to do everything by yourself. You think that you have to know how to code, design, write copy, and run Facebook or Instagram ads in order to be successful in digital marketing. But the truth is, you can't do it all (and you probably shouldn't try). You'll only end up frustrated and overwhelmed and feel like it's time to quit before you've really gotten started. No matter how talented or skilled you are, you cant do it all on your own.

So if you want to grow faster in this field, focus on building a strong team and collaborating with them. Digital marketing is constantly evolving, so it's impossible to keep up with everything on your own. Outsourcing allows you to focus on what you're good at and leave the rest to someone else. By collaborating with others, you can learn faster and grow your skills more quickly. So don't be afraid to ask for help - it can really make all the difference!

Be ready to fail, so that you can *fail fast*

Understanding failure in the past is key for success in the future.

In digital marketing, where the world is already moving so quickly, the ability to adapt and overcome is more important than ever, especially for marketers trying to engage, delight and attract new users on a daily basis.

Hands own, remove digital from digital marketing

It is unnecessary and really pigeon wholes you into one form of delivery for content to prospective target markets. Yes it's new, yes it's here to stay but SO many other strategies are available. If you are going to be a marketer, be a marketer. Radio Marketing, TV Marketing, Newspaper Marketing agencies did not weather the storms well. Just be a marketer and learn all the creative opportunities that are available for you and your team.

Investigate Your Rivals

Knowing what you're up against will help you stand out on the internet. This is significant since being unique allows you to stand out online, which means your website will receive more clicks than your competitors. Assume you're in the baseball card industry. Your competitors' digital marketing methods will be revealed by a basic Google search for your comparable services. You'll be able to observe whatever baseball card-related wording, graphics, and blog content your competitors use, as well as other information like their services, reputation, and online reviews. Make your differentiators based on this research. If your competitors aren't already doing so, you may join TrustPilot to boost trust signals, advertise on social media to attract new customers, or sell a wider range of products to stir interest. The development of new or superior products, as well as more efficient operations, can result from competition among enterprises. The development of new or superior products, as well as more efficient operations, can result from corporate competition. Companies may compete to bring new or revolutionary technologies to the market first. New and better products benefit consumers, and innovation adds to economic growth and higher living standards. Knowing who your competitors are and what they provide can help you distinguish your products, services, and marketing. You may use this data to create marketing strategies that take advantage of your competitors' shortcomings while also boosting your own company's success.

Use scheduling and automation tools

One tip I wish I knew before starting in digital marketing is using scheduling and automation tools like Zapier and Hootsuite helps to free up time to direct engagement with users. Whether its moving information between apps, adding a recurring task to your to-do app or another boring repetitive task, it takes a lot to manage data across multiple platforms. There’s always a new app that’s guarantees to help you streamline work and make the tedious tasks easy.

SEO is definitely a part or is an essential part of any digital marketing strategy

In a simple term, search engine optimization is the process of improving your website to increase the chances of its visibility to your target market. So that when people search for your products or services, your brand or even just products or services that’s related to your business in any search engines like Google, you’ll be visible together with the top searches online. This process will more likely catch the attention and attract potential customers. In strategizing, SEO is always a part of it, especially now that everything has gone online and people spend more hours searching and surfing online.

Learn how to write copy!

Copy is the most important skill any marketer can have and learning how to write for websites, social media, or any platform is a skill that any marketer should master. The quicker you can learn to write the more effective your marketing will be!

Don't try to do everything--you can't

Focus on what's most important. In my case, that's releasing new books (or episodes on a platform like Kindle Vella) and building an email list. All the social channels like Pinterest should serve that goal; if they don't, they're a waste of time. You should automate or delegate as much as you can.

I have a TikTok account, but until I can hire someone to upload new content (including content I made), it's going to lie in abeyance. To succeed on TikTok you really need to post 5-10 times a day, and there's no easy way to automate that yet.

Organic search is one of the essential things for digital marketing

Customers get needed information online through various ways; the most crucial source is search engine results. The initial segment of getting the site in front of potential clients and customers is to optimize the site accurately. Upgrading my website accurately assisted the web indexes with recognizing what's truly going on with my website and how it connects with what the client is searching for. Building a strong organic search system gave my site visibility inside the search engines. It assisted more traffic to my site, expanding my website's actual capacity for finding new clients and new opportunities and helping me to grow faster in digital marketing.

With performance marketing company’s growth would be fast tracked because of pre-planning

With a defined budget for example of $1000 dollars, it would have resulted in 2,000 impressions saving me wasted costs and time.

Performance marketing provides valuable insight by monitoring campaigns at every stage. For example if a specific campaign isn’t performing well, I would have the liberty to pause or altogether halt it in order to avoid any extra money wasted.

In this data driven age, performance marketing enhances all KPIs either through increased leads, app download or sign ups. Instead of marketing on all channels, a single best channel can be chosen for example instagram and expected goals can be met easily.

Not only that you can also monitor and gain real time response to give an in depth insight of each campaign. In short, performance marketing offers many perks that traditional marketing misses out on. Real time progress, response and results lets you invest your money in the right places.

You need to have great influencing skills

One thing that I did not realize when I first started in the digital marketing field was that you need to have great influencing skills. And although this can come with time, it is a good thing to practice and master before becoming a digital marketer.

You want to be able to convey to your team that your idea will work and have the data and the confidence to back it up. Convincing people your idea is good not only comes from concrete evidence, but also how you present it.

You also want to persuade consumers, so having that touch will only amplify your marketing skills.

Run Giveaways on Instagram, Facebook or other social media platforms

It's definitely the best growth hack there is in the digital marketing world. For example, an Instagram or Facebook giveaway is a terrific method to produce user-generated content and increase brand exposure among existing followers. It's best to use a giveaway loop technique, in which you team up with other influencers or even other brands to pitch in for a great reward. As a result, you'll be able to increase the contest's popularity while lowering your giveaway's expenditures. To be eligible to win the prize, users must like all of the contest's sponsors' accounts, as well as like, share, and comment on the post they wish to enter into the contest. it's a win-win move for all brands or influencers joining in the giveaway.

if you want a more simplified giveaway, roll out a freebie alert post.

Freebies are a popular choice amongst the public, you can take a traditional social media giveaway route or come up with unique ways to get people to buy a product or service. You may also do this to increase traffic not only on your socials but also your website when you redirect them to fill in forms and other information to get a freebie or a giveaway.

In some instances, it's not just products that you can give away. You can also give out a product or service for free, but charge for upgraded features and services. This is an excellent strategy to boost not only your socials but contribute to your company's growth. It's simpler to get customers in the door if you provide a free version of your product via your social media platforms, which makes it easier to upsell them to a more expensive version.

Use something that's social media friendly, such as a Facebook or Twitter page

The page will give you a chance to get in touch with your target audience and develop a relationship. On the other side, this can drive online sales. Keep building on that organic following where you can and eventually, it'll happen naturally!

Digital Marketing has a lot of tricks and strategies to outperform

However, knowing some tips, because you start off can make you go well within just no time. Know that SEO is the king while aligning it well with your content. Competition is becoming more fierce as more businesses embrace content marketing. Everything you do online is lost in a sea of noise and information. To stay ahead of the competition, every company must produce more and better content.

Analytics is on the opposite end of the spectrum from creativity, but it's the exact combination you need for digital marketing success. Google Analytics is ideal for determining the most important aspects of your website as well as how people browse through it.

Hopefully, this answer is helpful to you. You can contact me at the same email address for any follow-up questions. Also, feel free to modify or edit the answer to support your publishing requirements.

Make your brand speak for you

The way you present your work on social media and company website's is the key to your sales. The design, your work, and your efforts should talk about your work. Have a good website for your company. It tends to attract a lot of customers. Secondly, promote yourself on various social networking sites like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. The efforts you put in should reflect when customers visit your websites and social media handles. Also, try to create awareness about your brand, it will make the normal people talk about you and give them a reason to buy stuff from you.

You do not exist if you cannot be found online

Social media marketing is only growing in importance with social media platforms as an increasingly popular shopping outlet too. Shops on Instagram/Facebook Shops lead the way especially with younger audiences, TikTok has product links too. The world is becoming more visual which has made visual-driven platforms like YouTube/Instagram/TikTok gain popularity. With the rise of a generation that would much rather watch/look at something vs sit/read, there is going to be a growing trend of more visual content including pictures/videos (long and short form)/memes/diagrams/infographics. Live streams host public events/meetings on platforms like Twitch. In a mobile first/mobile only world, you have less time to grab people/attention spans are shorter so rich content drives engagement/traction/growth. Fewer people access the web on big screens so everyone is tailoring their site/message/content accordingly. Google is now considering the mobile-first design as a ranking factor for websites to improve performance. AR/VR are expected to become more mainstream as cell networks become stronger/faster so will be used more to grab/keep people engaged.

Without SEO, you can’t really market anything on the internet

Keywords are the foundation of SEO. To ensure that you're targeting the proper keywords, you should conduct extensive keyword research.

The second most crucial component of any SEO strategy is content. Including keywords is only the beginning; it's also critical to consider the user's wants when putting up content and pages. You may have mentioned what they're looking for, but if they don't find anything relevant, they'll leave your page.

Improve Your SEO

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the key to getting found online through Google or other search engines. In the past, we never put too much focus on our SEO efforts. We never had the tools or resources to build up our online presence with SEO which meant that our site wasn’t popping up on search engines or never had a high enough ranking to be on the first page.

Though when we started implementing more SEO tactics, we saw an increase in our site traffic and sales. Optimizing SEO can look like getting other sites to link back to ours, creating valuable content to answer commonly searched questions, and having relevant content for our industry and niche.”

Know how much more engaging a post would be with video/photo vs no graphic

Early on, many of us didn’t know this and we wasted a lot of quality posts by not including these visuals. Those early posts could have done much better if we had used visuals and we could have stood out in the early days of social media where the competition was less fierce and the content wasn’t as good.

Go out there and start networking

If I would have surrounded myself with talented people in the industry before I got into it, I'm sure my first steps wouldn't have been so back-breaking.

Unfortunately, I was one of those entrepreneurs who wanted to do everything by themselves, and I actually used to think I didn’t need anybody else to grow my company but myself, and boy was I wrong!

As time went by and I started to face new challenges, I knew I needed to become part of a community where I could not only receive support but also provide it to others who may be going through the same things as I am.

Networking opened so many new doors for me and helped me create great connections that led to a wide range of new opportunities, and I just wish I started doing it sooner.

Make a plan

This means that before any investments you need to have a defined target market, ways to reach those falling under that umbrella and ways to optimize your content.

Digital marketing allows businesses to show their ads to exactly those users who belong to their target audience, whether it's because of their interests, targeted demographics, important life events, or the location where they live. In other words, digital marketing helps usher people to buy your products.

To make the most of this digital marketing opportunity, it is important to analyse and get to know your potential customers and create a so-called buyer persona or profile of your ideal customer.

Based on that information, digital marketing allows you to create an advertising copy that will best communicate with your potential customers, or offer them exactly what they need and want presented in a way that appeals to them.

By regularly tracking the results of digital marketing campaigns, you can identify which products and services are cost-effective, which ads users respond better to, and direct your budget to what you will benefit most from conversions or brand awareness.

Don't fall in love with your own content!

This is the biggest mistake I made while starting out as a digital marketer. It is often tempting to make your content perfect when it is already good enough. Of course, it is important to be proud of whatever it is you are making, but we have to keep in mind we are our own worst critics.

In the digital world, it is so important to publish new content on a regular basis. Going back and perfecting old content takes up too much time and is often hindering the production of something new. Online the rule quality over quantity does not always apply. Keep publishing and perfecting as you go, I believe this will increase your odds of success.

Tailor content based on stages

When I first stepped into the digital world, I did not segment my marketing, instead solely focusing on driving customers to my website, however, I would have been better served to tailor my content based on stages. Encouraging someone to visit your website is part of the process, yet, guiding them to an eventual purchase requires specific delineated phases.

Breaking down the stages into awareness, product consideration, and decision encouragement, and then styling the verbiage and design to drive that conversion, continues the selling through the entire process. By initially recognizing that digital marketing requires guidance from introduction to purchase, and not simply bringing the customer to the store, I would have had much greater initial sales success rather than abandoned carts.

Stay focused

When you can take a piece of advice, a tool or key tip in the online space and put all your energy or focus into making that successful, you will save yourself a lot of heartache.

Try not to get too distracted with promises of huge waves of traffic, lead generation or sales being promoted by digital guides, workshops or sign up here mentality. Focus on the simple nuts and bolts of creating a foundation, find a piece of advice that resonates with you and follow it

Know how much overlap there is in the different branches

For example, social media, SEO, and content writing all require very small variations of the same skills. These three strategies must also be perfectly aligned in order to have success with your campaigns. A lot of times, the same content is used for all three outlets. It is just rephrased to be optimized for that outlet.

Knowing how closely these three are intertwined would have saved me a lot of time and money. Additionally, I probably would have had more success early on with my marketing strategy.

SEO is the real gamechanger in digital marketing

I wish I had known more from the beginning of co-launching our business on how to use search engines like Google to reach the widest audience.Any eCommerce business is missing out if they’re not using SEO strategy to maximize their marketing power and get the most out of their marketing budget. Certain keywords when typed into Google, for example, will inevitably pull results based on the sites that have the most relevance and Domain Authority for those specific keywords. Anyone searching for these words will find your company website if your DA is high enough. This makes a huge impact on how wide your marketing pull can scale. Any eCommerce business needs to interpret SEO marketing into their growth strategy.

Don’t shoot for low-hanging fruit: avoid PPC marketing

PPC marketing is by far the easiest way to ensure your business is reaching potential customers’ SERP, but allocating too much of your marketing budget to it can leave you hamstrung for Organic SEO.

Organic SEO is cheaper and more effective in the long run. Honestly I’d recommend even startup businesses investing there earlier and more often.

Set up AB testing for your digital campaigns as early as possible

Not only will this help you hone in on the brand messaging and imagery that markets most effectively, but it will help your business understand how to best drive the results you want.

Using visitors’ bounce rates, for example, is one way of testing how efficacious your splash page is at converting visitors into customers. If one splash page tests significantly better at retaining users on your site, it would be strategic to implement that design to better engage your target audience.

Knowing your audience is key to making you more efficient at running your business. AB testing is one of the simplest and most direct ways to refine your digital marketing strategy.

One of the biggest steps is to target your audience

Marketing trends are always shifting, however, a well-seasoned marketer will understand that one of the biggest steps is to target your audience.

When you target your audience other steps fall into place. Many people get overwhelmed with their tactics if they don't have a clear target audience.

There are many ways to recognize your audience such as using SEO tracking, surveys, or using analytics tools.

Short-form video and authenticity are two of the most important aspects of any campaign

In other words, short-form video platforms like TikTok, IG Reels, and YT Shorts were all the rage in 2021.

Specifically, consumers now expect to see highly engaging video content -- fast jump cuts, high quality transitions, and motion graphics -- in their digital advertisements At the same time, consumers are tired of being sold to, and yearn for meaningful connections with brands; in other words, they wants to hear from authentic brands. In summary, I wish I would've put more emphasis on authentic short-form video in my early digital marketing efforts.

Know the importance of the emotional aspect of marketing

Many new online marketers (myself included) tend to focus much more on the technical aspect of advertising. Yes, it is extremely important to know how to set up your ads and track their performance, but where I see many new guys fall short is the emotional side of advertising. First, try to figure out what your customers want, then give it to them. This is the emotional side of advertising and it will most likely have a much greater effect than your actual ad.

Learn to write - Specifically, learn to write sales copy

Digital marketing is simply the written word wrappedup in a few creatives. SEO requires you to write content. If you can use copywritingskills to craft blog posts, you’ll increase conversions and people will be morewilling to link to you. Video ads require a script – and so do regular YouTubevideos. Learning to write copy will make sure the cold email you send to thathiring manager (or potential client) gets past their filters and producesopportunity after opportunity for you.

Beingable to write makes sure your direct response ads on Facebook require minimaltesting before they’re profitable. Understanding how to write copy will helpyou craft Twitter threads that are shared all over the platform. The art ofwriting will make it easier to build your Quora following and craft headlinespeople want to click on.

Allother digital marketing skills are improved when you know how to write copy.Focus on it. Master it. You’ll go far.

Done is outweighs perfection

When you step into the world of marketing, you try hard to impress your coworkers and employers. You put a significant amount of time and energy into your work to ensure all the T's are crossed and I's are dotted. But, over the years, I've come to realise that this isn't an efficient use of time. While you should always put your best work forward, you shouldn't worry about being perfect. It's more important that you're present. Plus, the more stuff you get out in the field, the more data you'll collect on what works well and what doesn't.

Make the campaigns for the management of one's online reputation consistent

You must make every effort to maintain a favorable online reputation to present a positive image to potential customers and clients. Apart from maintaining and managing your social media profiles, you'll also need to establish and manage your companys listing on review sites such as Google Maps and Yelp.

If you aim to manage your online reputation effectively, your strategy is an important aspect. Customer testimonials serve as today's referrals. In addition, you should respond promptly and courteously on the review site if you discover that a customer has written a negative review to address the customer's concern. This will demonstrate to the existing customer and other potential customers that you value your customers and are committed to resolving any issues that may arise in the future. If potential customers notice that you have a high rating, positive reviews, and respond professionally to any concerns, they are more likely to choose your business for their needs.
